Tanja Milinkovic

Exhibitions Coordinator

My interest in weaving led me to the Guild and my first table loom many years ago. However life kept getting in the way, so I refer to myself as a long-term beginner.

Currently, I am learning to weave on a floor loom and am looking forward to the next certificate of weaving course. It looks like my time has finally arrived- so watch this space!

I am very excited to be part of this awesome, supportive and inspiring community.

The Guild's aim is to bring together those who practise handweaving, spinning and allied crafts. To help and encourage them to increase their knowledge, understanding and skills by discussion, demonstration, exhibition, teaching and the provision of quality resource materials.

In the spirit of reconciliation the Handweavers and Spinners Guild of Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today.
