Ancient and Modern

We are having a demonstration day of ancient textile techniques on Sunday 29th October 2023 as part of Craft Contemporary. We will cover multiple techniques including nalbinding, lucet, sprang, viking knitting, ply split braiding, tablet weaving, kumihimo, spindle spinning and more. It's a unique opportunity to see these techniques in action and we are encouraging people to try it on the day.

$5 entry fee. 10 am to 3 pm. Scout Hall 12 Shakespeare St., Carlton North.
