About the Guild

The Guild's aim is to bring together those who practise handweaving, spinning and allied crafts. To help and encourage them to increase their knowledge, understanding and skills by discussion, demonstration, exhibition, teaching and the provision of quality resource materials.

The Guild hosts an active and engaging exhibition schedule throughout the year.


Each year brings something a little different whilst hosting some regular favourites. Pop into the Guild and see what is up this month.  The Guild welcomes members of the public to view our member's work in the Exhibition space.  Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am through to 3:00pm.

Exhibition Calendar for 2019

Each exhibition will be presented at the monthly Saturday Guild meeting where a discussion by the group involved gives some fascinating insights into the display. 


February;   ‘ Treasured Members featuring Sylvia Mason and Alice Lowery’


March;   The Dye Group. A wonderful insight into all types of dyeing by a dynamic group. 


April;        The Pascoe Vale Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild. A skilled and interesting group displays their work. 


May;       The Experimental Spinners and the Sunday Spinners. Fleece and more - spun in all sorts of ways! 


June;    The McClelland Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild. History, techniques and superb skills will be on display from this Group.
